The Scandal of the IRS Scandal

Thankfully someone is asking the harder hitting questions about this IRS scandal, unfortunately, it's the alternative media with little to no fanfare. Still, why is no one asking about how the IRS was used to attack political enemies of President Obama? Sure, it's a scandal that they did it, but it is a bigger scandal that it was allowed to happen at all, or even directed to happen.

Pricing Scandal Conspiracy

A little bit of vindication for the conspiracy theorists from an unlikely source; Rolling Stone magazine has published a story about how a global cartel has been price fixing products for a while. Though it would appear this cartel is banks, working in conjunction with brand-name companies. All good fun we assume.

GOP Helps ObamaCare

They say its a two party system, and if you're blind and deaf, you probably believe that. Anyway, here is a link to the Republicans fast-tracking a bill to help bolster the ObamaCare Act. Yep, the Republicans are actively helping make the "Affordable Care Act" come to life and stay alive. Don't trust anyone in DC anymore.

NY State Subpoena's Psychiatrists

After the highly controversial and unConstitutional gun laws were passed in New York state, today we get word that the State is issuing subpoena's to psychiatrists asking for information on patients that are on medication and/or depressed. Seems the agenda to confiscate is moving along just peachy.

ACLU Sides with NRA

Must be living in some sort of bizarro world these days. Plucked from Yahoo News, it would appear that the American Civil Liberties Union is taking sides with ... the National Rifle Association. Time will tell if they actually do come out and support the NRA, but at this point, we're not sure what world we live in.

The ObamaCare "tax" Issue

Remember when the Supreme Court betrayed America - okay, more specifically - with the ruling on ObamaCare, that it was a "tax" and therefore legal? Well the good ol' Constitution says all taxes, i.e., revenue generating income for the government, has to originate with the House of Representatives. Which is the point of a new lawsuit, the "tax" came from the Senate, not the House. Oops.

Legislation Against Pro-Gun Sheriffs

There are roughly 350 sheriffs across the country that have adamently stepped up to the challenge against gun-control. And now there are pockets of legislation popping upon across the country to have these sheriffs removed. Of course, it isn't gun-control, it is controlling people's freedoms. Or in this case, the protectors of freedom.

DHS Snubbing Congress on Ammo Supply

Seems a few members of Congress are finally asking the big question to the Department of Homeland Security: why, exactly, do you need enough ammo to carry on a war for 24 years? To date, no response has been made. And frankly, do not expect a straight foward answer anytime soon from our resident brownshirt employees.

Time for Collapse [ZeroHedge]

This was featured yesterday over at Zerohedge, and it was a bit long of a read. Nonetheless, after considering it in full, it seemed prudent to post it here. So, how about a nice history on fiat money and the inevitable fall thereof to brighten up your day? Salient point; Cyprus is a pre-trail of things to come and our timeline is short.

Cyprus Today

We have been tentatively following the Cyprus issues lately. At first, we had a "who cares" mentality because Cyrpus is a small country with barely 1 million people. However, this little island is apparently the catalyst that may cause the entire Eurozone to fall upon itself. Did anyone see this coming? They stress-tested Cyprus' banks last year with no issues. Curious, indeed.

Want a Job? Build a drone!

It would appear there is a silver lining to having tens of thousands of drones above the US by 2020: the private industry that builds drones predicts up to 70,000 new jobs created and billions added to the economy. Hard to argue with losing your privacy and/or life in the face of so much job growth. When is the Soylent Green factory going up? What? Recycle, reuse.

About Drone Strikes in the US

In case you missed it, there was a correspondence exchange between Senator Rand Paul and the Department of Justice Top Lawyer Eric "nation of cowards" Holder. The highly unfortunate part was the admission via Eric Holder that drone strikes within the US were, in fact, legal. So with one word, "legal," all of your rights ceased to exist with your citizenship. You are now a target.

Mayor Bloomberg on Infinite Money

We plucked this sentence from the article: "It’s the old story: If you owe the bank $50,000, you got a problem. If you owe the bank $50 million, they got a problem." And that's the reason - according to Mayor Bloomberg - as to why we don't need to worry about being lent more money - we simply owe so much that nobody wants to see the US fail! So they keep lending us more.  Comforting... we hope.

The Rich Getting Richer under Obama

Such a funny thing, that claim about socialism making everyone equal. As the US moves closer to that realm, a recent report has stated that under Obama, the rich have gotten more rich than when Bush was president. But how can this be? Because the rich simply pass that extra taxation cost onto you, and you get poorer while they get richer. To each their own.

New York Gun Law: Molon Labe

Seems some backlash is already happening in the liberal state of New York. In fact, there seems to be more than discontent with the recent gun laws the state enacted. Or, as they purported said in Spartica back in the day; Molon Labe, which means, "Come and take them." Could be some interesting times ahead.

Liberals Complain about Tax Increase

Since our limp-wristed Republicans couldn't do anything regarding negotiating the "fiscal cliff" and the tax-breaks or increases, there has been some out-crying over this. From liberals. Sure, it's just an editorial from the Washington Times, but their reporting on Twitter feeds about paycheck reduction is poignant. Yes, why did you vote for Obama again, as you so lament aloud?
